Employment History Disclosure (AB 2534)
In accordance with California Education Code Section 44939.5, as amended by AB 2534, all applicants for certificated positions must provide a complete and accurate record of all employment with Local Education Agencies (LEAs), school districts, and other educational institutions.
As part of the hiring process, Oakley Union Elementary School District will verify employment history. This may include obtaining information from previous employers regarding credible allegations, investigations, or disciplinary actions related to egregious misconduct, as defined by Education Code 44932.
Mandatory Employment Disclosure (SB 848)
Pursuant to Senate Bill 848, Oakley Union Elementary School District may disclose and receive employment-related information, including substantiated misconduct, when required or permitted by law, to support student safety and compliance with state requirements.
