Students enjoyed our Native American Heritage Celebration, thanks to our Counselors Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Fernandez. Participants, including students and adults, enjoyed crafts and treats during the event.




Recognizing our 1st Trimester Honor Roll students today thanks to the efforts of our many staff members who offered their support. Students received a certificate, new Delta Vista sticker and, of course, doughnuts! Congratulations to each one of our Honor Roll and Principals Honor Roll students. We're so proud of you!



In honor of Native American Heritage month, Delta Vista will have a Native American Heritage month celebration this Friday, December 1, 2023, during 1st & 2nd lunches in the Library. Students will enjoy an educational video on Native American Heritage month, create an easy "Dreamcatcher" craft project, and then enjoy honey sticks. Many thanks to our Counselors Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Fernandez for making this possible for our students and staff.

We are so grateful for the continued support of the City of Oakley on the installation of digital marquees district wide. We are hoping that we can finalize the completion of these vital information centers soon! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we ensure that we do this project right!

This is a friendly reminder that our first DELAC meeting this school year is on November 9th; English Session at 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Session in Spanish at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We will discuss the DELAC overview, ELPAC results, DELAC site representatives, EL program overview, and district information. Celebrating Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Delta Vista today, one of the most important celebrations in Mexico. Students had fun and engaged in educational activities during their lunch period, including watching the movie, "Coco," Loteria (Mexican Bingo) and Arts & Crafts. Many thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Fernandez, Mrs, Barajas, Mrs. Ordaz, Mr. Conley and all staff who made this possible, including our Superintendent Palmquist who paid us a visit and participated in the festivities.



Delta Vista students participated in food tasting to provide the OUESD Food Services Department with their input about menu items.

Our students took a break from their studies today to learn from Corey the Dribbler, former Harlem Globetrotter, with his message about perseverance, respect for others and always doing your personal best. A huge thank you to Assistant Principal, Mrs. Morse, for bringing Corey to our school!
