CJSF had their help a teacher day for community service today. Another fine example of the positive impact this club makes at our school!







BSU students took a field trip yesterday to the African American Museum, and Library learn about the history of Oakland, and African American leaders who paved the way such as Vois Brooms, Huey Newton, Mayor Barbara Lee, Lillian Black and so many more. The students enjoyed the museum, library, and showed deep appreciation for the roots of history up close.






Accompanied by many family, friends, and coaches, I could not be more proud of Delta Vista Panther Sy'Aer Jones for leading the Pledge of Allegiance at tonight's City Council meeting in Oakley.

Our students who completed the California Young Reader Medal Challenge have casted their votes and are celebrating with a Pizza Party! Many thanks to Mrs. Mitchell for making this happen for our students.
