The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is an anonymous, confidential survey of school climate and safety, student wellness, and youth resiliency. This is a friendly reminder that our first DELAC meeting this school year is on November 9th; English Session at 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Session in Spanish at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We will discuss the DELAC overview, ELPAC results, DELAC site representatives, EL program overview, and district information. Please join us, as your input is valuable to us.
Barrels will be placed in front of the Summer Lake Library to collect canned food and new, unwrapped toys. These will be donated to the Oakley Christmas Basket Program for Families. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Oakley and the Oakley Rotary.
Summer Lake Barnes & Noble Book Fair * Wednesday, November 29th from 1pm to 7pm at the Barnes & Noble store at Slatten Ranch on Lone Tree Way * A percentage of sales will benefit the Summer Lake Library.
Tonight (October 27th) is our Summer Lake PTA Trunk or Treat event. Join us for a spooktacular evening of family fun at our PTA sponsored Trunk or Treat event! Dress up in your favorite costumes and bring your little goblins for a night of safe and thrilling trick-or-treating in our school parking lot. We'll have creatively decorated car trunks, delicious treats, and games to ensure a hauntingly good time for all. Don't miss out on this unforgettable Halloween experience – see you there!
