Dance with friends in a show stopping, celebrity VIP event that will create lasting memories for our Sea Turtle family! Summer Lake students only, no siblings. No drop off, parents must stay at the dance. There will be Straw Hat Pizza food truck and a tea truck, The Hen and Drake.
$5 ticket per student. Adult tickets are free, the limit is 1 adult per child. 1 adult can bring multiple children. This is due to capacity and we want as many students to be able to attend the dance. Buy tickets at summerlakepta.com .

The Summer Lake Book Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 26th from 1pm to 7pm at the new Barnes and Noble, located in the Streets of Brentwood . Mrs. Seeno will be on hand to read stories and welcome students. Proceeds will benefit our Summer Lake Library.

The TK/Kinder Enrollment Parent Info Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 5pm - 6pm at Iron House Elementary School
Winter Fest is an important fundraiser that supports student enrichment, like installing our new community Sea Turtle Garden. Celebrate this festive time of year with our Summer Lake school family with fun activities, games, and treats. There are 2 sessions: Session 1 is 4:30-6pm, and Session 2 is 6:30-8pm. Every one attending needs a Ticket (children 3 and under are free). Ticket price includes 1 raffle ticket, Mrs. Claus StoryTime in the library, ornament making, and games. Summer Lake Make Up Picture Day will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd. Would you like your student to retake their original portrait? You must sign up by emailing us at least 48 hours BEFORE your make-up day to get on the make-up list. After this window has closed, we cannot guarantee your student will be pulled from class for a retake. smile@apvisions.com . (Please include your school, students name, and grade)
All new students or students who missed the original day DO NOT need to sign up. We are already prepared to take your portrait that day. If you purchased a package from the original day, you must return the entire package on makeup day to receive a replacement at no additional cost. Enjoy your Fall Break! The school office will be closed September 30th through October 13th. School will resume on Monday, October 14th .
Reminder: Day at the Lake is Friday, September 27th. The gates will open at 8:15am. Each grade level will have a singing performance on our outdoor stage. There will be an extended recess you can enjoy with your child. You are invited to bring a snack to picnic with your student during their Snack Recess. This in an Early Release Day. Students will return to class after the scheduled snack recess. Any student not returning to class at the scheduled time MUST BE SIGNED OUT. We cannot have siblings on the playground during recess in order to ensure safety for everyone. See the schedule for performance times.
September 23 through September 27 is Parent/Teacher Conference Week. We will be on Minimum Day Schedule the entire week. Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm, followed by First - Third graders at 12:05 pm. Fourth and Fifth graders will be dismissed at 12:25.
