Please note that students must complete online registration before class schedules can be released.

Student Photos

Yearbook and student ID photos will be taken during registration. Students are required to have their photo taken for their school ID card. Families wishing to purchase picture packages may do so in advance through Lifetouch. That code will be sent out the week prior to Walk Thru. 

Incoming 6th Grade Residency Verification

All incoming 6th-grade families must provide two forms of residency verification showing the parent/guardian's name and address (such as a current utility bill, mortgage statement, escrow papers, or homeowner's insurance statement).

Documentation may be emailed to kedwards@ouesd.k12.ca.us  prior to walk thru, dropped off at the office (we are open thru 6/9 and back again 7/10) or copies brought to walk thru. If you have already completed an affidavit for the upcoming school year through our office, no additional residency verification is required.

Please note that 6th grade student schedules cannot be released until residency verification is complete.

Address Affidavits

Families using an address affidavit must renew and update it annually. Notifications were sent in May. Updated affidavits must be completed before student schedules can be released.

Incoming 7th Grade Immunization Requirement

California law requires all incoming 7th-grade students to provide proof of a Tdap (Whooping Cough Booster) vaccination. Families whose students are not currently in compliance have received separate notification. 

Registration Day Purchases

Please note that we are currently able to accept cash or checks only.

Items available for purchase include:

  • ASB Cards – $10

    • Discounted admission to Winter and Spring Dances

    • Free admission to all OPS home athletic events

    • Additional student benefits throughout the year

  • PE Uniforms (7th & 8th Grades Only)

    • Shirt: $15

    • Shorts: $15

  • NEW Spirit Wear

    • Shirts $20

    • Hoodies 30

Water and snacks will also be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting our incoming 8th-grade class.

Yearbooks

Yearbooks will be available for purchase online. Additional information and ordering details will be provided during registration.

Fall Sports

Information and permission slips will be available for:

  • Girls Softball

  • Boys Volleyball

  • Co-Ed Wrestling

Permission slips are due by August 5, as tryouts may begin later that week. Additional information will be shared once schedules are finalized.

Join the OPS PTSA

We encourage all families to become members of the PTSA and support our school community.

Membership: $20 per family

Families may join online or during registration.

FotografĂ­as de los estudiantes

Las fotos para el anuario y la identificación estudiantil se tomarán durante la inscripción. Todos los estudiantes deben tomarse la foto para su tarjeta de identificación escolar. Las familias que deseen comprar paquetes de fotografías podrán hacerlo por adelantado a través de Lifetouch. El código será enviado la semana anterior al Walk Thru.

We will only be accepting cash or checks at Walk-Thru.

Registration forms are required to be completed annually in order for your child to receive a classroom assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. 

  • Please complete these forms as soon as possible. 

  • Your child's registration is required in order to provide you with your child's designated teacher information during Walk Thru. 

  • Keep in mind that a student may not start school until all registration forms are completed. 

  • First day of school is Tuesday, July 28, 2026
