Each year our students participate in the California Young Reader Medal where books are nominated and then voted for by children in California. After weeks of read-alouds in the library, students get to cast their ballot for their favorite book and help choose which book wins the California Young Reader Medal!

Meet Your Librarian
Welcome to the library! With several years of experience at the school as a clerk, Ms. Marissa is excited to begin a new role as our school librarian. I enjoy helping students discover the joy of reading and creating a welcoming space for every child who walks through the library doors. One of my favorite parts of the day is reading stories aloud and seeing the excitement and smiles on students’ faces as they connect with new characters and adventures. I look forward to encouraging a love of reading and supporting students throughout their learning journey. I have been married for 20 years to the love of my life Matt and we have 4 kids; Lorelei (18), Landon (15), Parker (13) and Zachary (10). I love Gilmore Girls, Friends, pickles and shopping.
