The voting for the California Young Reader Medal (CYRM) winner has concluded. Students voted for their favorite books.

The winners:

Grades K-3: "Grumpy Monkey", with "We Don't Eat Our Classmates a close second place.

Grades 4-5: "this way, Charlie", with "Dinosaur Lady" coming in a close second place.

Laurel's results have been sent to the CYRM organization to determine the statewide winners. The results will be announced soon.
