Lexia And Dreambox

Our district has been utilizing 2 amazing online programs to support both teachers and students for the past few school years. Lexia is an online Language Arts program and Dreambox is a program to support Math. Both of these programs allow students to complete an inventory of skills which then allows both programs to tailor the activities toward the students ability level and reinforces individual skill development in the areas of Reading and Math.

Teachers are able to receive instant feedback for each student and is used by them to support lesson planning, identifying students that would benefit from additional small group support, and to show progress towards grade level standards. Teachers have included these programs as a daily assignment, within the students required instructional minutes, just as they would if we were learning on campus.

The reports from these programs will be shared with you at our reporting periods to assist families with understanding your child’s mastery or skill reinforcement to meet grade level standards. We ask that all students use these programs daily to support our educational team to identify areas of needed emphasis and continued growth during remote learning.

We hope that you can support our teaching staff by having your child work in each program daily, as they are required assignments to support student progress.

At this time, parents may only access the front office one person at a time.

Please plan to use the drop off area and we will make sure your child gets to class. You may also walk your child to the office to drop him/her off there in the morning.
