Principal's Message
Dear Vintage Parkway Families,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Vintage Parkway Elementary School. I am honored to join a school community known for its dedication to students, strong family partnerships, and commitment to academic excellence.
My career in education began as a substitute teacher, where I quickly discovered how much I loved being in the classroom. That experience inspired me to return to school to complete my multiple‑subject teaching credential while working as a science specialist. I went on to spend several years teaching at the elementary level as well as a few years teaching middle school in the Walnut Creek School District. Toward the end of my teaching career, I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership and served as an admin designee at my elementary school. For the past three years, I have been an Assistant Principal in the Liberty Union High School District, serving both Liberty and Heritage High Schools. In this role, I’ve taken on a wide range of responsibilities, and the diversity of the work has strengthened my skills as an administrator, enabling me to better support the staff, students, and families I serve.
My husband and I are proud to be part of this community, and I look forward to serving the families and students in the place we call home. In our free time, we enjoy the outdoors, especially camping, boating, and spending quality time with family and friends.
As I begin this new journey with you, I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, families, staff, and community partners. I believe that strong schools are built through collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to helping children succeed both academically and socially.
At Vintage Parkway Elementary, my goal is to continue fostering a culture where students are encouraged to be curious learners, respectful citizens, and confident leaders. I am eager to listen, learn, and work together to ensure every student has an outstanding educational experience.
I also recognize the important role families play in the success of our school community. I encourage you to stay connected, get involved, and reach out whenever you have questions, ideas, or concerns. Together, we can create an environment where all students thrive.
I am truly excited to become part of the Vintage Parkway family and look forward to meeting each of you in the coming weeks. Thank you for welcoming me into this wonderful community.
With appreciation,
Samantha Dumenigo-Principal, Vintage Parkway
