District Vision

“Oakley Union Elementary School District is a diverse learning community committed to educating and empowering today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders in a safe and inclusive environment.”

WELCOME MESSAGE

 from Superintendent Greg Hetrick

THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE!!  With my final message to you as Superintendent of the Oakley Union Elementary School District I want to welcome you to the Oakley Union Elementary School District Website.  Thank you for taking time to log onto our website and find out about all of the Amazing things that take place in our District.  It has been my absolute pleasure to serve the Oakley Community for the past 20 plus years.  As I prepare to say goodbye to OUESD, I encourage you to continue to do all you can to stay actively engaged in this amazing school community.  “Working together, you have helped make a difference.”  OUESD has been able to navigate through the obstacles of COVID-19 and pushed ahead to a full return to in-person learning.  I applaud everyone for the efforts that made that happen.  OUESD is resilient and remains deeply committed to providing the best learning environment for ALL students.  Every student deserves the opportunity to be challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and to have the opportunity to become actively engaged in the school they attend.  OUESD’s Vision, listed above, serves as the guide to everything that takes place within each of the nine school sites.

There will continue to be challenges ahead; however, by working together and keeping the focus on what is best for students this amazing district will not just get through it, but will thrive.  I say goodbye to you as your Superintendent, but I am excited about the future of OUESD.  I wish you and your family the absolute best.  Thanks for all that you do.

Have a great day!!

Greg
