Single Plan for Student Achievement

Congratulations Mr. Beyler - Iron House Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Beyler currently teaches 5th grade at Iron House Elementary School.  With education being a second career for him, he brings an invaluable perspective to the classroom and our District.  Mr. Beyler has been teaching for 16 years, all proudly served in the Oakley Union Elementary School District at both the elementary and middle school levels.  He holds a B.S. in Business & Marketing and earned his teaching credential through Chapman University.  Mr. Beyler is a life-long learner, accumulating an enormous amount of hours in professional development in the areas of equity, effective teaching strategies, increasing student achievement, and technology, just to mention a few.  In addition to this, Mr. Beyler has served on several committees and has readily taken on leadership roles whenever there’s been the opportunity.  Beyond our District, he volunteers many hours in the community as a coach and volunteer in both his children’s’ schools and his church.

It’s an absolute pleasure and honestly quite amazing to watch Mr. Beyler teaching in the classroom.  Students are drawn to him like moths to a flame, hanging on his every word.  He’s the epitome of a natural teacher leader. It is for this and more that Mr. Beyler was selected by his peers as our Teacher of the Year.  Congratulations, Mr. Beyler!
